2007-09-15 - Gullwing, door lock repair and remote control, countdown sequencer

From today, I can finally lock/unlock my car via remote control. Since the paint job was done, my driver's door lock did not work anymore - this bug has been fixed by us today. Additionally, we cleaned up the lock system and the power window motor.
Then I wanted to mount my new Grant steering wheel, but it has a completely different mounting unit than my gullwing. So I will have to get another one. Nonetheless we test-installed my gullwing steering wheel, which looks great. But I have to admit, that secure driving is almost impossible with it. So I will only mount it for meetings and photos. We're not allowed to use it on streets in Germany, anyways.
Last but not least, we installed my new countdown sequencer to the dashboard. It will be mounted before the painting abd the electronics will be added after that.
