K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.
K.A.R.R. ("Knights Automatic Roving Robot") was the prototype of K.I.T.T., which was not programmed to protect human life, but to be self-preserving. His actions are selfish and evil. K.A.R.R. first appeared in the 9th episode of the 1st season ("Trust Does't Rust") and fell down a cliff at the end.
In the 6th episode of the 3rd season ("K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.") he is discovered on the beach and for better differentiation from K.I.T.T. he is provided with a yellow scanner and later with an additional silver coating.
K.I.T.T. vs. Goliath and Garthe Knight
Wilton Knight's evil biological son Garthe Knight (optically a "twin" of Michael Knight) builds an armored truck called "Goliath" in the 2nd season to destroy K.I.T.T.
In total, 2 double episodes of the 2nd season deal with the vehicle ("Goliath" and "Goliath Returns")
The SEMI
The SEMI - the mobile command center of the Foundation For Law and Government...
"Junk Yard Dog"
One of my favorite episodes is "Junk Yard Dog" (Season 3, episode 14).
Here K.I.T.T. is almost completely destroyed in an acid bath and must be completely rebuilt...
"Knight of the Juggernaut"
Also in "Knight of the Juggernaut" (Season 4, episode 1+2) K.I.T.T. is heavily damaged and must be rebuilt.
Here he receives the Super Pursuit Mode and the convertible funktion...
Modifications and Spin-offs
K.I.T.T. with stars in "Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular" (Season 1, episode 5)
K.I.T.T. with flames, pipes and rear spoiler in "Custom K.I.T.T." (Season 2, episode 8))
