2007-08-24 - New catalytic converter, new chassis, new windscreen

Over the last 2 weeks, K.I.T.T. was at the garage for the necessary technical checkup (TÜV). So there were some repairs to do.
The car got a new suspension, because one of the shock absorbers was broken.
The windshield had some small stone holes, so it had to be replaced.
Additionally, the old catalytic converter was broken and the oxygen sensor was defective. Both parts were replaced. Now the exhaust system works great again.
At last all brake hoses were replaced and filled with new brake fluid.
After all these repairs, my car passed the technical checkup with no problems. But you can see that a project like this needs more money than just buying some replica-parts.
