2009-03-21 - Getting started for the AMI fair

Before K.I.T.T. can be exhibted at the AMI 2009 fair, some little work was necessary
Unfortunately, the power windows did not work for a while. The reason was quite simple. After the garage works last year, the ground-cables from both switches were lose. After disassembling the center console we reconnected the cables and the power windows did work again. So K.I.T.T. can be presented with opened driver window at the AMI.
Because the car will be presented with disconnected car battery at the fair, I removed the black cover from the scannerbar, so it is at least recognizable by its red color.
Additionally, we built a control box into the trunk, which makes it possible to switch the sound signal of the car PC between inside and outside speakers.
Finally, we cleared the area underneath the dashboard and covered all visible cables with black cloth.
