Season Final Meeting 2022

From 30th September to 2nd October 2022 our season final meeting took place. Also this year Jan from near Northeim invited to his home.
We met with a total of 10 K.I.T.T.s - and for the first time, a K.A.R.R. replica was also there.

K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.

After my arrival at Jan's, Sonja and Paul from near Augsburg were already there with their vehicles. Sonja had sold her K.I.T.T. a few years ago - but has now built a new one. And she also built a K.A.R.R. replica, so K.I.T.T. is not lonely in the garage.
K.A.R.R. (Knight's automated roving Robot) is the evil prototype of K.I.T.T. and appears in 2 episodes of "Knight Rider". In the second episode, "K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R." (season 3, episode 6), he gets an amber scanner and a silver additional paint job for better differentiation.
Of course I had to use this opportunity for a little photo shoot.

Friday, 30th September 2022

Towards evening we drove with all already present participants back to the large parking lot to make another group photo. So far 8 K.I.T.T.s as well as K.A.R.R. were on site - 2 more followed later.

Afterwards we went on to HeliJet in Langenhagen. Here we could make helicopter tours - and of course take some nice photos with K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R.
Since the space was limited, only Jan with his K.I.T.T. and Sonja with her K.A.R.R. drove to the place. All other vehicles parked in the village.

Jan's K.I.T.T. and Sonja's K.A.R.R. were first placed next to the helicopter for photos. Afterwards everyone who wanted to could make a tour flight with the helicopter - here at least a little Airwolf feeling came up ;)

After dark, we drove on to Hardegsen Castle, where a rich schnitzel dinner awaited us. Afterwards, we ended the evening at Jan's home with nice conversations.

Saturday, 1st October 2022

Saturday morning began with a hearty breakfast at Jan's home before we got the vehicles ready to drive to the PS.Speicher in Einbeck. Here our public meeting was planned today, to which also visitors could come.

In Einbeck, numerous visitors were already waiting for us. We lined up the vehicles in a row, so that once again an impressive picture was presented.
The weather gods also played along. Shortly before our arrival it stopped raining :)
I took the opportunity this time to stream live from the event on Facebook. Since quite a lot of questions came from the audience, a more than 50-minute live broadcast was created, in which I answered many questions and also showed the vehicles in more detail. The video can be seen on YouTube and on Facebook.

After our joint lunch, we drove on to Göttingen to play laser tag. Here we took over a complete company parking lot...

Towards evening we went back to Jan's home, where we finished the evening with delicious food from the grill, nice conversations and an episode of "Knight Rider".

Sunday, 2nd October 2022

Sunday morning also began with a hearty breakfast at Jan's home before we got the vehicles ready for the journey home and spent a few more hours talking.
The meeting was once again very nice - with many familiar, but also a few new faces. The organization by Jan and Julia was excellent as always! Many thanks for that - we will be happy to come again :)
