Season Final Meeting 2021
  • From 15-17 October 2021 our season final meeting took place. Jan from near Northeim invited to his home again. In previous years I was unfortunately never able to attend due to scheduling reasons, but since 2020 and 2021 were not busy overall, I decided not to miss the final meeting this year...
  • On Friday morning I gave K.I.T.T. again a proper car wash and refueled him once again, so that we could start to Northeim around noon...

  • At about 4:30 PM, I arrived at Jan's home, where Stephen's K.I.T.T. and Mirco's 4th Gen Firebird were already waiting. For dinner we drove together with 3 K.I.T.T.s to Wolf's Burger in Hardegsen. There we took first pictures with the cars and met Kay and his family for dinner. Kay had left his K.I.T.T. at home though...
  • Then we went on to a McDonald's parking lot, where we were joined by Flo with his Knight 3000 replica and Christian and Sabrina with their Dodge RAM.
  • Together, we went back to Jan's home, who also provided sleeping places for all. Meanwhile, Sonja and Paul had also arrived. After Sonja had sold her K.I.T.T. last year, they are now building again on a new replica, but they had arrived with their white Mustang for now.

  • Saturday morning began with a hearty breakfast at Jan's house.

  • After that, we went on to Hildesheim, where we had rented a go-kart track. Originally we wanted to play a laser tag game afterwards, but then we decided to spend the time talking at the cars. In the meantime John from Herford had joined us, so that we were now on site with 5 K.I.T.T.s plus Flo's Knight 3000. In addition, Tom Wilcox from Hildesheim stopped by briefly, but he did not have his K.I.T.T. with him...

  • Before we went back to Jan, we made a stopover at a toy store, where some participants stocked up with new model cars... Afterwards we went back towards Northeim.

  • We spent the evening with nice conversations plus dinner from the grill at Jan's house and the campfire. So even the meanwhile quite cold temperatures could be endured.

  • Also on Sunday there was again a hearty breakfast, so we sat together well strengthened with more talks before everyone took off again towards home. I drove K.I.T.T. again to the car wash to make him fit for his upcoming "hibernation"

  • Many thanks again to Jan and Julia for the great organization of the meeting. It was as always a lot of fun and I was very happy to meet a few new faces :)
