On 26th January 2024, filming took place for a report on MDR Umschau. The oldest regularly broadcast magazine on German television dedicated a 14 minutes feature to artificial intelligence in cars - so K.I.T.T. was a perfect fit as a brief introduction (1:40 min) and ending (0:25 min) to the topic.
Unfortunately, the weather was pretty bad during the filming, but we were lucky that we caught a period when it wasn't raining - and a week before there was still 20 cm of snow - so we made the best of it.
The show was broadcast on 13th February 2024 at 8:15 PM on German MDR Television. There was a rerun at 1:10 AM. The program had a total of 262,000 viewers with an 8.1% market share.
