Today, I finally got my 15" Turbo Cast Rims. I bought them more than 12 months ago on eBay. Unfortunately, the seller accidently shipped them to the wrong address. Now I finally own ALL parts for my replica.

Today, I finally got my original hubcaps. I bought them almost 12 months ago on eBay in a set with Turbo Cast Rims. Unfortunately, the seller accidently shipped them to the wrong address. The rims should arrive within the next days, too.

Over the last two days, we started to prepare the dashboard

Today, we tested the dash electronics. We only connected the power wires - so there is no display of car-functions yet. But it looks great anyways ;)

Today, I got my dash electronics from Jupiter Electronics. I decided to buy the new version with colored LEDs, because I don't like the white look, when the LEDs are off. Now I can continue the completion of the interior.

Today was the last day of season 2007. Having a perfect weather, I took the last chance to take K.I.T.T. for a ride and to make a new videoclip.

From now, I can lock/unlock my car via remote control. Additionally, we repaired the driver's door lock and mounted the Gullwing for testing. Last but not least, we mounted the countdown sequencer to the dashboard.

Today, I got my countdown sequencer from Brian Thone. The quality is fantastic. Now I only need the rest of the electronics...

Besides my replica-project, I'm also a huge fan of the "Back to the Future"-trilogy and the webmaster of the largest German fansite for the films, www.ZidZ.com. There we organize annual fanmeetings. This year, I went there with K.I.T.T. and we made some beautiful images.

Over the last 2 weeks, K.I.T.T. was at the garage for the necessary vehicle inspection. So there were some repairs to do. The car got a new chassis, a new windshield, a new catalytic converter and new brake hoses with new brake fluid. After that it passed the inspection with no problems.

Over the past days, we solved the headliner-problem of too much space between the headliner and the car body. Additionally, we started to fit the dashboard into the car. Unfortunately it will still need a lot of bodywork.

Over the past days, we installed the car-PC, did some electrical work, installed the missing interior parts and the voltmeter to the overhead console. Additionally, the scanner now has its typical sound.

Over the last days, we upholstered the rear seats and built all new seats into the car, attached the overhead console to the headliner and built it into the car and did some more electronical work.

Today, I got my PMD seats. I bought them some weeks ago on eBay.com and they even got upholstered in the USA. Additionally, I got an upholstery kit for the rear seats.

Over the last two days, we connected the lower console in the car. Now, the scanner can be controlled via the lower console, which also shows the scanner's function. After that, we finally connected the second battery in the trunk and connected the scanner to the emergency break. Now it can not be activated while driving - the only legal way in Germany.
