Today, there was a chase on "Alarm für Cobra 11" using a K.I.T.T. replica! In 8 detail cuts (tachometer, display, steering wheel, gear shift, lower console, voicebox, Turbo Boost button and steering wheel breaking off) you could see the interior of my car!

The "Street Mag Show" in Hannover is one of Germany's biggest U.S. Car Meetings. This year, my K.I.T.T. was a part of it again.

Today, I met with Stefan Ganß from Antenne Thüringen. For his series "Ganß nah dran" he visits interesting projects in Thuringia. And now he finally met K.I.T.T.

July edition of German magazine "Coupé" has a four-pages-report(!) about my hobby.

On 6th June 2011 there was a shooting for German action series "Alarm für Cobra 11" in Cologne. Originally David Hasselhoff was supposed to play a cameo for the new season opening, but he did not come. Still, my car can be seen at interior shots for the show on September 15th 2011.

On April 16th 2011 we held our season opening for members of Project-KITT.de forums in Moers and Duisburg. The "Neue Ruhr Zeitung" reported in two regional newspapers about us. The NRZ in Moers told a little more about my replica project.

The first meeting of Project-KITT e.V. in 2011 was held in Moers and Duisburg, where I joined the group again. This time, there were 6 K.I.T.T. replicas and several Firebirds.

Today, we installed the new mediaplayer in the car. A Voltcraft voltage converter converts 12 volts to constant 5.2 volts. The mediaplayer plays videoclips for the monitor directly from SD card.

My car PC needs too much power. That's why, I bought a new power saving media player for simple video playback from internal 2.5" HDD, SD or USB memory sticks.

From this year on, I register K.I.T.T. from April to October. This means one month more driving, one month less winter break or 16.7% more fun. Some kind of that.
I changed the registration today and got new license plates with the new season numbers. So only 16 days to go :)

The active members of the Project-KITT e.V. meet each other several times a year. The last meeting in 2010 was held in Stuttgart, where I joined the group again. Thisb time, there were 6 K.I.T.T. replicas and 4 more Firebirds.
