DMAX "Spiegel-TV-Report: Helden der Hebebühne"

On May 18th and 19th 2010 there was a shooting for Spiegel-TV-Report "Helden der Hebebühne" for German TV station DMAX. The report shows different car handicraft enthusiasts, who work on special cars. One part of the report will show my replica of K.I.T.T. - so they filmed the mounting of my switchpod. They also filmed me capturing soundfiles and of course they did a lot of shoots of K.I.T.T. - Unfortunately there was a lot of rain on May 19th so we had to resign driving scenes and interviews with bystanders.

It was episode 3 of the 5-episode-show "Helden der Hebebühne", which started on September 26th 2011.
Unfortunately, DMAX only used about 8 minutes from the first 30 minute raw cut. So they only showed me and my friend Martin, installing the switchpod. The interviews with the boss of my paint shop and my friend Danny (see pictures below) were cut. They also cut me capturing the soundfiles from the Knight Rider DVDs and blurred my web address on my t-shirt for some reason... Well... That's TV, folks ;)

Discovery Screenings, 15th September 2011 in Düsseldorf

On 15th September 2011 the Discovery Screenings 2011 were held in Düsseldorf. At this event, Discovery Channel Deutschland, which is the mother of DMAX, presented its new program highlights to the press. Also, K.I.T.T. was invited to promote "Helden der Hebebühne"...
