My new LED scanner
  • Includes different scanmodes, sound, remote control
  • 8x 5 Watts ultrabright LEDs
  • Control unit in Surveillance Mode look
  • Manufacturer: Lectric Enterprises, USA
  • Significantly lower power consumption: 1.6 amps vs. 34 amps with all lights on. Less than 1 amp in continuous operation.
My old halogen scanner
  • Includes 8 different scanmodes, sound, remote control
  • 8x 55 Watts halogen bulbsy
  • Manufacturer: Lectric Enterprises, USA
  • Unfortunately, it's not suitable for continuous use. In addition to its high power consumption - which drains the auxiliary battery in about 2 hours - it also gets too hot over time. I therefore decided to replace it with the LED scanner mentioned above.
