2010-05-08/09 - Working on the switchpod
  • In the past 2 days we went on working on the switchpod.
  • First we drilled holes for the aluminium overlays into the fiberglass.
  • Then, the switchpod had to be made thinner, so it can fit behind the round steering wheel. Additionally, we had to glue in some wooden elements, so it can be mounted to the dashboard.
  • We also soldered the electronics so it can be mounted into the fiberglass after it has been painted.
